Watergate Hotel Washington, DC
The Watergate hotel is located at:
2650 Virginia Avenue, NW. This hotel is in the Heart of DC and where
notables stay. The hotel became notorious during the Watergate break-in
scandal under President Richard M Nixon's administration. The hotel owns several
buildings including Office Buildings and Apartment Complexes and the offices
were the scene of the break-in. Another scandal during President Bill Clinton's
administration involving Monica Lewinsky, saw her held up in the Watergate
apartment which I believe is where the infamous dress was confiscated.
Past occupants have
included Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Bob and
Elizabeth Dole, Betty Currie, and Paul O'Neill among others. Current Secretary
of State Condoleezza Rice now lives
in the Watergate.
