National Museum of African Art Washington DC

The National Museum of African Art.  This is located right to the west side of the Smithsonian Castle.  Along the 'mall' the day we went, we found that instead of a 9-11 ceremony, the National Organization of Negro Women were holding the "Black Family Reunion Celebration".  Tents filled with speakers, music, food and political stuff abounded.  We went through and though not African American, they welcomed everyone.  Very nice.  Admittance is free both for the festival and for the museum.
